After finding out that magnets are endless power source (example: http://www.sparkworkz.com/fc2/index.php?designId=50886) I started thinking how good they could actually be in a game with no real friction.

Well here's what I came up with:

Even though i tried to make it as symmetric as i could, eventually at time 3100 the speed gets too fast, the parts get jammed and the whole thing blows up 8-) . Compared to the car engine, they are like nothing.

You can add third circle too, but the part limit gets too close (takes more than 142 pieces) : http://www.sparkworkz.com/fc2/index.php?designId=52041
That red ball has been added to slow down the speed a little.

The advantage of using the wheels on top is that there isnt any friction or bumps with the ground

With this design, I have figured out: More not equals faster, its timing and friction.

If you can create a design with almost frictionless walls and good timing, then it will be really fast...

I also found out when making this design that you should try to put the repelling magnets on both sides 1 unit (fantastic contraption does this to prevent fractional coordinates) away from the lagest stroke the wheel can get. This is for piston motors

Edit: If you developers did not design the game like the "unit" way I said, then a glitch is in the game because I notice pieces moving 1.5 to 2 pixels at a time.

The car engine like magmotor needs a lot of work. I have found that adding 2 more magnets in the middle further increase the speed of the motor.

I think the concept behind that motor cannot be improved further. All that needs is the tweaking of measurements. More cylinders = More torque for that design. 2 cylinders just not powerful enough.

Edit 2: No, ignore the above edit. that is wrong. only the middle 2 more magnets are needed to make it faster. the extra magnets slow it down.

Ok here's my newest invention: the atomic bomb :D (actually i found this out a week ago but anyways) :

So basically it's just a few positive magnets around the ball put together with wooden sticks. Then some negative ones added near. And that's what happens :D
In that example the speed is so fast for the blue ball that it goes right through that "bully" and goes inside it.
