And DOINKSTER, I don't think you ever posted your :brown: solution for the qualifier.

Nice design doinkster.

Just so everyone knows, if you see that I have seen your PM but your position on the elimi board hasn't changed, that most likely means that your design wasn't quite improved enough in order to change your position.

I'm not that good with these boards and things like that, so how do i know if you have seen my PM or not ?

(i guess that sounds like a silly question , but i have no idea)

Poor LKJ, ive sent him 9 submissions to just this round, i think thats about me done with the thoughts now, i just cant get it any better, i've tried my very best, but as usuall here the competitors are all in a very high class,
I really cant wait to see all your solves as i enjoy that part of the comps almost as much as trying to beat you guys (fat chance there lol)

For a second, thought your design would rip the ball right off the blue rods. Lots of power..

i was just sitting here thinking if i could improve my latest submission (dont think i can) when it struck me, i have an xbox & a PS3 sitting behind me, for which the games cost around £30 to £50 a pop, and on average keep me occupied for 2 to 3 months.

But im sitting in front of my computer totally hooked on a game that cost me $10 (about £6 at the time), and have been for several years.

A lot of it is down to the great levels submitted every day by countless people who love the game, and some very good compertitions here on the forum.

Take this round for example, its a fairly easy level to solve , but add a requirement (or a non-requirement) and it multiplies the enjoyment and difficulty enormously.

Lets thank people like LKJ who bother to set up comps like this (i've only entered 2 lol) and hope this site continues to flourish for many more years

Cheers

A double insult. Below the elim line and not in alphabetical order. ( I suppose I shouldn't have
put myself in that position.)

If the Pm you sent is in your outbox than that means that i have not seen it yet, if it is your sent messages than i have seen it.

Cooljenny, sorry about that alphbetical mistake but thanks for letting me know. I have just updated the elimi-board for the last time until the round is over, the only thing i had to change was the alphabetical mistake

thanks for all of your compliments guys.

OK, Round 2 is up everyone. Everyone that solved it with 8 pieces lost a life and everyone else didn't. id36 solved it with 4 pieces, WOW! I am really looking forward to seeing the solutions for round 2. It is one of my favourites. I loved the diveristy of solutions in round 1, there where 4 major ways of solvinging it.

Also, dont forget to tell me if i made any mistakes
