Lkj,I'm always impressed on how you are good to make levels. Not only the challenge of each level, but all your levels are very beautiful and well-finished,simple and clean.Nice job.

Thanks, I like to put as much time into making the levels as I expect you guys to solve them.

I agree.
Round 4 is particularly well devised 'cause,
by requiring not-sweep and connecting the orange ball to the goal piece,
lkj forced us not to throw the goal piece and not to let the contraption fall down.

Thanks lkj for making these levels and for hosting.

I'm really curious to see the solutions to round 4.

I echo guzman's comment. This competition has been very well run in my opinion. You never fail to deliver good quality levels and a slight twist from the norm when you think up your rule set. Maybe that's why I always enter your comps and need no persuading - just a gentle reminder if I've been away from the forums for too long.

So far this comp has been a blast and the levels have been top stuff. It's good to see that you're adaptable since you noticed that the first few round had been solvable in single digits and thus upped your game with Round 4. I think R4 will separate the men from the boys. Having said that, I don't see myself getting the top solution this time. Even though I do appear a little cocky at times, I have deep admiration and respect for patacoman and guzman, who I know will give me a run for my money.

Patacoman is a veteran from FC1, and even though he's a man of few words, he never ceases to amaze me. Him, Cruiser40 and xhawkx are my 3 favourite old-skool players of FC1 (we are talking 2008 and onwards here - that's how long we've been playing lol). He just needs his donkeykong avatar to be complete. Coming onto FC2, guzman is one of the FC2 elite and always thinks outside the box. On FC2, guzman, Xyle, and WizBang have my respect - even though Xyle and WizBang haven't made a competition appearance in quite a while.

Well, that's my competition roundup. This in no way means I don't fear the other competitors, it just means I don't know them well enough or haven't seen what they are capable of. Happy contraptioning, people!

I really feel honored by your words id36.
You, Xyle and patacoman are my contraptionist idols.

I became father of two twins, a boy and a girl, 5 months ago.
It frequently happens that one of them cries at night,
so I take him/her and I hold him/her for hours while rocking on the rocking chair.
I have one hand free and lots of time.
That's a perfect moment to play FC2. You only need to get used to use the mouse while rocking.
This is how I solved all the levels so far.

Thanks alot :D

Some of my FC idols are id36, cristian19833, and ~Jon~. But ~Jon~ stopped playing a long time ago. I PMed Xyle hoping he would join this comp, i really want to see him win a comp, does anyone know how many times he has come in second?

UPDATE

Oh, yes, I was talking about minimal solutions contraptionist ...
but for amazingly complex contraptions, you, cristian19833, Xyle and a few others are incredible.

Thought xhawkx was the top dog with id36, jdelgado6, crusher, patacoman, and a couple of others just on his heels. JHawk also has his moments from time to time. I think JHawk has done the most in recent times to keep this game alive.
